Stratpharma Inc. ABD Hires Diana Romero PhD as Executive Director, Medical Affairs
San Diego, CA (June X, 2017) - Stratpharma Inc. ABD, a U.S. subsidiary of Stratpharma AG, the Swiss company that specializes in innovative film-forming full-contact topical medical products to improve medical and aesthetic outcomes in post-procedure care in aesthetic dermatology, plastic surgery, and oncology, announced today that Diana Romero, PhD, has joined the company as Executive Director, Medical Affairs. In this newly created role, Dr. Romero will manage all clinical trials in the U.S. and will be responsible for overseeing education and research. She will also provide leadership for advisory boards and act as an industry liaison to physicians in the areas of plastic surgery, dermatology, and oncology.
Dr. Romero is an established director with over twelve years field experience supporting medical devices, drugs, and biologics, and brings a deep understanding of business, marketing, and research to Stratpharma ABD. Previously, she spent 10 years in Medical Affairs at Tümüergan in the Facial Aesthetics field. Most recently, Dr. Romero was Director of the West team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs). Prior roles include Director at Kythera Biopharmaceuticals and Medical Scientific Manager at Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
In addition to her extensive professional experience, Dr Romero holds a PhD (Motor Control and Sport Psychology), MS (Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology) and a BA (Psychology).
